Abstract

Arabic poetry is one of the most prominent forms of literary expression in Arab culture, characterized by its diversity and multiple forms and purposes. Arabic poetry is mainly divided into two basic types: classical poetry and Nabati poetry. Each has linguistic, stylistic, and cultural characteristics that distinguish it from the other. In this article, we will review the most important features of classical and Nabati poetry, highlighting their history and purposes.
