Abstract

Alvin Toffler is a famous American futurist. He has penned several books on futuristic society. The Third Wave is one of his books in which he presented the theory of the "The Third Wave" society. Toffler explicitly discussed in itthe role of knowledge and technology in effecting changes and thus shaping the coming of the new type of society in the future. The article focuses Toffler's futuristic theory in light of his writings.
