Abstract

In the context of comparative criticism, the poetry of Ghalib and Iqbal has been a constant and trendy subject. Because both of them have specific intellectual harmony and mental relations. On the basis of this resemblance, many critics have considered  Ghalib as the spiritual predecessor of Iqbal. In terms of themes, there are many common subjects in the poetry of Ghalib and Iqbal. In the light of the covenant, intellectual sources and the scientific consciousness of their Urdu poetry, efforts have been made to compare and interpret it in a comparative manner. The purpose of this article is not to prove Ghalib and Iqbal as scientists. Rather, it aims to highlight their elevated imagination and modern consciousness, which reflect scientific awareness. There is no scientific criticism of this kind of criticism, but it can be a tendency and a generous trend. By the way, modern and modern ideas have provided several tools to look at the poem with a diverse point of view rather than a glance.
