Abstract

The Inciting expression is meant sometimes to goad upon to do something and sometimes is used to forbid from doing something. This element has special meaning with reference to Arabic literature where it has been used abundantly both for goading and forbidding. The holy Qur’an too has employed it at many places. Inciting expression has been displayed in the holy Qur’an through different words and styles. This article is a study of the Inciting words and styles used in the holy Qur’an.
