Abstract
Dr. Iftikhar Siddiqui is a renowned critic and researcher of Urdu. Translation work is one of his fortes. He has translated numbers of article from English into Urdu. But his Urdu rendition of Allama Iqbal's diary namely Stray Reflection merits to be mentioned as he has employed all possible literary beauties in its translation which has made this translation itself a piece of literary value. Another scholar has also translated the same diary into Urdu. The article presents comparative study of both of the translations besides highlighting overall review of the translation.
