This article highlights prose style of select representative prose writers like Meer Aman, Meer Shair Ali Afsoas from Fort William College. It establishes that their style have played vital role in progress of Urdu language and  contributed in the simplicity and continuity of Urdu language. The article also highlights the reasons of stay of  the afore mentioned authors and their roles at Fort William College. Besides, the article also briefs about other prose writers who were part of Fort William College and worked for Urdu book compilation and translation.
