Abstract
The art of translation is more toilsome than creating a piece of art itself. A piece of art in prose demands a peculiar skill likewise. Rendering translation of a verse is as to undergo laborious process where the translator maintains the spirit of the original work in the translation while observing the nuances of the language in which translation is being carried out. The article focuses on verse translation of Umar Khayyam, Sheikh Abu Saeed Abu al-Khair and Sarmad Kashani's Persian Quartets into Urdu.
