Abstract
Sufism is an important subject of Islamic society and Islamic teachings. Sufism began in the blessed life of our Prophet. Their goal was to complete good morals among Muslims, because Allah Almighty has made them the masters of the great ethics. The reality of Sufism existed during the time of the Prophet, his Sahaba, the Tabieen and the followers of the Tabieen, but there was no specific name for this fact. The source of Sufism is the whole life of the Messenger of Allah and righteous deeds of the Sahaba. Studying the blessed lives of the Khulafa e rashideen reveals that they were Sufis of a very high level. Along with that, the Ashaab e Sufah also held a very high position of piety and tasawuf. Before the second century A.H., this school of thought was given the name of Sufism. Sufism is an important pillar of Islamic society, especially the profound impact of Sufism and mysticism on the lives of Muslims in the subcontinent, which is in dire need of review. In the article under review, the beginning and evolution of Sufism will be studied.
