Abstract
Four hundred manuscripts were donated to Astan Quds Razavi, Iran, by “Asadullah ibn Sheikh Muhammad Momin al-Mushthar Babin Khatun al-Mashhaddi Ameli” in 1067 AH. He was the son of Allama Fahami Sheikh Muhammad Khatun Ameli (d. 1059 AH), the prime minister of the government of Abdullah Qutb Shah (the Sultan of the Shiite region of Hyderabad, India). This mostly exquisite manuscript collection, which was transferred from Hyderabad, India to Iran, is the largest library entrusted to this library before the transfer of seven hundred manuscripts from Nader Shah Afshar (d. 1160 AH) to 1145 AH, which he had transferred to Iran from the war in India. Therefore, it was appropriate to conduct a study and identify and introduce the titles of all the manuscripts of this endowment collection in the Quds Razavi Library. Recently, a detailed book about this Ibn Khatun library has been published in ten chapters. The present article introduces this book and summarizes the chapters of the book and its conclusions.
