Abstract

Existential thinking established as a result of the World War one and two. Kerkigarrd is consider to be the father an founder of Existencial theory. Jean Paul Sartre extended his teachings to a larger extent. Hindi Indian subcontinent Ghalib is the product of Colonial Era which resulted in a huge human tragedy. Life was circled down for the natives.There identity, culture, religion, language and civilization was deformed and deshaped. Ghalib directly and indirectly felt this cruelty from the core of his heart. Existentialism, though, was not the product of that era, It penetrated indirectly in Ghalib's poetry. it is because  of the same motivs Which are present in Ghalib's era and Existencial age alike. Ghalib was upset by the hardships of his contemporary circumstances. This article deals with the same perspective of Ghalib's poetry with special context of existentialism
