Abstract
Punjabi is a rich language. Its literature, both prose and verse, is an ample proof of its richness. Under the patronage of great Sufis, it reached its climax especially in poetry. Women of Punjab have also been contributing to its richness through their literary endeavors. They are not only enriching their mother tongue but they are also presenting the true picture of womankind of the Punjab. This article is a study of women's Punjabi prose in modern perspective.
