Abstract

Urdu language has been used as an effective source for understanding, creativity, research, knowledge and literature as well as training and teaching on official level prolonged for more than a hundred years in State of Jammu and Kashmir. It also enjoyed the status of lingua franca among three administrative units of the state: Jammu, Valley and Ladakh. Exclusively, one-dimensionality and harmony has been overwhelmed because the linguistic homogeneity and by that source the social, political, moral and cultural ties between the smaller and bigger units of the state also become stronger and monolingualism only guaranteed to strengthen the bonds. By an Indian intrigue of June 2019, conspiracies have been made not only to deprive Kashmiris from the sweetness and coruscations of the Urdu language, but A conspiracy has also been made to eliminate the social harmony (pluralism) that existed in the Kashmiri society due to lingual homogeneity to abolish the Kashmiri identity.
