Naseem-e-Layyah belonged to a far off city of Punjab Layyah. Naseem boasts of a plenty of poetical and literary dimensions. Along with Ghazal, Nazm, Masnavi and Marsia, genres such as literary Essay-Writing, Column-Writing, Translations, Dohra and Kafi seem to have become his identity. The present study deals with the critical as well as research and context-oriented aspects of Naseem's life and work.
