Allama Iqbal is a great subcontinental poet and philosopher of the 19th century. He rightfully admired the greatness of the men of letters of his own era. Ghulam Qadir Girami was his contemporary. He was a renowned Persian poet of the subcontinent. Love and affection of Iqbal with Girami can be seen in his letters. Iqbal submitted his poems to Girami for correction as well as was enlightened by his critical remarks.In this research paper the impact of Girami on Iqbal's poetry has been critically evaluated.
