Abstract
Badee al-Zaman is one of the renowned Islamic scholars of the 20th century. His work “Rasayl al-Noor” has been translated into many languages of the world. The article highlights the importance and inevitability of the prophethood in the light of Zaman’s books. His views on the meaning of prophethood, its importance and inevitability have been discussed especially prophethood of holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Moreover, it explores his methodology of affirmation of prophethood and consequences of its negation. The article includes discussions on Oneness of Allah Almighty, belief in the Hereafter, worship of Allah, welfare of humanity, salvation from wrong path, high morals with reference to prophethood incorporating excerpts from “Rasyal al-Noor”.
