Abstract
Tasawwuf stands for inner purification. It leads a person to right path shunning all unhealthy and immoral ways. The practitioners of Tasawwuf are called Sufis. The Sufis emphasize upon loving the Creator, following the holy Prophet (PBUH), purifying inner self, showing tolerance and forbearance and serving humanity. Principals of Tasawwuf are not incompatible to Shar'ia, if so that would be anything else but not Tasawwuf. The true Tasawwuf is what our religions demands of. The article sheds light on Tasawwuf in light of the holy Qur'an and the saying of the holy Prophet (PBUH).
