Abstract

There rose many men of letter in the Sub-continent who opted Persian language for their literary endeavors. The list includes names other than Muslims. Raja Durga Parsad Mehar Sandailvi was such a personality. He was one of the dynamic personalities of the Sub-continent who lived in 19th century. Unfortunately, no proper research work has yet been done on his literary and poetic achievements. He had written both in Urdu and Persian. This article is confined to study his Persian historiography.
