Abstract
The Bahmanid Rule lasted in India from 1347 to 1527. The Bahminid Empire was founded by Alauddin Hasan Bahman. This is the period when fertility and richness of the Sub-continent attracted the people living in adjoining areas especially of Iran to a large extent. It is why numberless people migrated to the Sub-continent in search of a better and honorable living. Among them were Persian speaking people from Persia and Transoxiana. They made literary contributions and flourished in the Bahmanid Period. This article is an introductory study of the Persian prose writers and their books whose origin was either Iranian or Central Asian.
