Abstract
Fort William College played a very significant role in the spread of Urdu language. Many a book published under the influence of this College. Baital Pachisi and Sanghasan Battisi were two famous books on folklore which also got published from here. This article analyses the style and content of these two books. The article focuses their philosophical traits besides shedding lights on their dealings of folk wisdom from different aspects like socio-politic, societal and finally feminine. Moreover, the article studies the religious and ethical points presented in them. A comparative study has also been made between both books side by side study of their Hindi mix style.
