Translating a meaning or a sense of one language to other has various methods. Every method possesses some unique qualities which prompt experts of translation to choose one or other as their best choice. In this brief piece of research, it has been endeavored to elaborate the opinions of different scholars of the art of translation. Starting with the introduction of translation and its eight famous methods, it ends up summarizing the view points of seven prominent European and American scholars of the translation.
