Abstract
The article explores the linguistic experiments made by Zafar Iqbal in his collection namely 'Gulaaftab'. Apparently, he has distorted the conventional style of composing poetry by making amendments and innovations in grammar and language and by introducing a self-coined diction. He has unified the words, similes and allusions from different languages and has created a cultural harmony. However, where 'Gulaaftab' has complicated the verse pattern, it has also broadened the horizon of poetry by exploring new dimensions.
