Abstract
Fine Arts are major sources of an artistic imagination, interpreting the vast colors and experiences of life. They have always been a part of our cultural heritage in the shape of calligraphy, painting, drawing, pottery, architecture, poetry and dance. Fine Arts, whether in the shape of literary, visual of performing arts, they provide us with self satisfaction, motivation, aesthetic awareness, creativity and sense of dignity. Our national poet Allama Iqbal highlighted the importance of Fine Arts in his poetry. He has solid reasoning in respect of characteristics of great arts as well as a low quality creation. He is of the view that a skilled masterpiece is being created with complete concentration, zeal and hard work. This article covers Iqbal's philosophical theories about Fine Arts with special reference to poetry, architecture, music and dance.
