Abstract
Gujrat is a famous and celebrated city of Punjab-Pakistan. It enjoys literary history of about four hundred years. Scholars, writers and poets hailing from Gujrat got due recognition in literary world. This article covers preliminary literary traces of Gujrat and their writers along specimens of their literary contributions.
