Abstract
The post colonial theory discovers the urge in the colonized natives to realize the effects of colonialism and respond to it in order to protect their social and cultural sovereignty. Allama Iqbal, the leading poet and philosopher of the colonial era in sub-continent, penetrated deeply into the conditions of that time and raised the voice of the subaltern people in his poetry. This article aims at examining Iqbal's famous poem Iblees ki Majlis e Shura with reference to the post colonial theory.
