Abstract
Khawaja Meer Derd (1721-1785) was an eminent figure of Naqshbandia Order. His poetry represents the poetic tendencies of the 18th century. His ghazal elegently represents aestheticism and Sufism. The subtle depiction of his beloved's physiology sweeps away the readers. This article focsus the delicate mystical delination of Khawaja's poetic beloved. He artistically mingles his sensuous feelings into mystic spirtuality. Khawaja marrellously intaprets a fleeting beauty with the eternal mystic truth. The article attempts to find a link of transitory and temporaey human beauty in Derds's poetry.
