Abstract
The Punjab has been the habitat of people belonging to different ethnic backgrounds, religions and creeds. This all made Punjab's culture unique and rich. It is chiefly distinguished for its spiritual luminaries. Muslim saints and legends have enjoyed the status of stardom in the history. People of Punjab have always participated in the social activities irrespective of their religious and philosophical inclinations. Punjabi culture has also influenced Urdu poetry in general and Urdu Ghazal in particular. This article analyses and discusses the effects of Punjabi culture on Urdu Ghazal.
