Sheikh Noruddin Rishi is a Kashmiri Sufi poet and representative of true Islamic mystic thought. He is remembered with a number of names. He is Sheikhul Aalam  for Muslim and Nund  Rishi for Hindus. The article is particularly focused on his contribution to enriching mystic and spiritual tradition and his profound impact on shaping humanism in true manners in Kashmir through his verses called "Shurukhs".
