Not only his contemporaries but also his successors benefitted from his work and style.  The hermit poet of the Sub-continent Afreen Lahori was very close to Saib. He adopted symbolic style for his verse composition like his predecessor Saib. Strikingly, Afreen opted the Sufic topics which Saib had already penned.
