Abdul Aziz Khalid is a great name of modern Urdu literature. He is a polyglot and enjoys excellence in many western and eastern classical and modern languages. He is not only a good poet but also a very good translator as well. He is a prolific reader of international literature. He has rendered a number of masterpieces of world literature and enriched Urdu language with new ideas and trends of literature. This article is a study of Khalid's art of translation and his contribution to Urdu literature.
