Abstract

Hasan Askari is a modern critic, translator and fiction writer. He has expressed his specific views on the poetry and criticism of Hali. He has discussed Hali in an extraordinary way, because his thinking and attitude towards Hali is not formal and imitative, but is patriarchal. Instead of following Hali blindly, Askari has invalidated his popular literary ideas. Hali is a moderate, while Askari is a rigid critic. Hali evaluates and suggests the western literature as an imitable model for innovation and development of oriental literature, Askari imposes a condition of cultural sensibility on it and also wants to revive the eastern tradition in oriental literature. Moreover, Hali advocates the slogan of Art for Life sake, while Askari believes in Art for Art's sake.So theoretically, these  are the points that distinguish them. The same points also exist as distinctive features in Haliyat of Askari. The article presents  Haliyat  of  Askari with the same distinctions.
