Abstract
Kashuful Mahjub is one of the most important Persian treatises in which Hazrat Ali Hujvari has elaborated many important aspects of Sufism. Given its importance, it has been translated into different languages of the world. This article is about the Punjabi translation of Kashful Mahjub done by Muhammad Sharif Sabir. He beautifully rendered this book into Punjabi. While translating he used very simple and easy words of Arabic and Persian origin instead of difficult words of Hindi, Siraiki and Pothowari. He also translated the Arabic text of the book to facilitate its readers. In short, he has been successful to convey the message of Ali Hujvari’s book to the Punjabi readers.
