Abstract

Al-Tafseer Al-Mazhari, authored by Qazi Muhammad Sana Allah Al-Panipati, holds a prominent position among Arabic commentaries of the Holy Quran written by Hanafi scholars of the Indo-Pak subcontinent. The significance of this Tafseer lies in its comprehensive approach, where the author employs various sciences and techniques required for authentic Quranic interpretation. This research focuses on the rhetorical aspects of Al-Tafseer Al-Mazhari, particularly “Al-Taghleeb,” which is a significant topic of Ilm al-Ma‘ani. The study analyzes the examples of Al-Taghleeb mentioned by Qazi Sana Allah Al-Panipati while interpreting the verses of the Holy Quran. It highlights the author's expertise in Arabic rhetoric and his contribution to understanding the linguistic and miraculous dimensions of Quranic expression.
