Abstract

Intizar Hussain is known in the world of Urdu literature as a prominent short story writer, novelist, columnist, translator and critic.Like so many other literary figures he also came from India after Partition, here in Lahore he was introduced to Nasir kazmi. A bond of friendship flourished between the two great literary figures. Intizar Hussain was very impressed by Nasir kazmi's enchanting personality as well as his adorable poetry; this is why in his memoir, autobiography and columns, he openly expresses multi-dimensional personalityof Nasir Kazmi. He also wrote several essays on Nasir's art. Furthermore both of them were engaged in mind blowing conversation on different subjects. In this article great attention is focused only on those aspects of Nasir kazmi's personality and art that are reflected in intizar Hussain's writing and conversations.
