Abstract
Ghulam-ul-Saqlain Naqvi is a well-known writer of Urdu. The 1965 war took place before the eyes of Ghulam-ul- Saqlain Naqvi, so those impressions could never be erased from his mind and he had a desire in his heart to write something about this war. The collection of short stories “Naghma Aur Aag” published in 1972, which consists of seven stories, all of which are about the 1965 war. The special thing about these stories is that instead of generals and colonels, ordinary soldiers are presented as “Heroes’’. His stories exude love and loyalty to the homeland, but at the same time, the smell of hatred for war is also seen.
