Abstract

Naqshbandi is a major Pan-Iranian Tariqa having large majority in Central Asia, Turkia and India. Syed Baha-ud-Din Naqshband was founder of this Silsila. In India it was propagated by khawaja Baqi Billah, Sheikh Ahmad Serhindi and Mazhar Jan-e-Janan. The literature of this Silsila is found in large numbers all over the world. Every Silsila of tareqat has its own principles. The manuscript under discussion is also about the Faqr-e-Naqshbandi. Major rules and qualities of faqr are narrated. So the manuscript is a great addition to the Naqshbandi literature.
