Abstract

Descriptively in vividness, nature, and textual technique the Urdu Novel of the modern period is trivially different from the Classical Novels. Owing to the last two decades of 20th century the globalization has impacted the world multi-dimensionally and its reflexes can be visualized in every spheres of human life. The political world emerged unipolar on the emergent collapse of the Soviet Union. The new world order was imposed forcefully on the backward nations. The world is changed into global village on the eve of Science and Technology. At the initiation of 21st century the increasing international consumerism, changes in local/national cultures and civilizations and the economic ferocity have implicated on the trends of Urdu Novel.
