Abstract

Allama Iqbal began publishing regularly his verse since  April 1901 in Sir Abdul Qadir's magazine Makhzan. This magazine played a pivotal role in popularizing Iqbal both home and abroad as a poet of great genius. Special issues of journals and magazines began publishing in Iqbal's own lifetime starting with Yousuf Hasan Khan's Nairang-e Khayal (September October 1932). Lately, two more Iqbal’s Issues have been discovered namely Nor-al-Taleem and Akhtar. Discovery of these two issues is a valuable addition to the present literature on Iqbal. The article introduces and analyses one of them i.e., Nur al-Taleem.
