Abstract
Metamorphosis occupies central place among the supernatural elements of folklore in world literatures. It is the most complicated and complex phenomenon yet much applied in stories of yester years. The treasure of hidden meanings can be discovered by interpreting its symbolic and metaphorical usage. In this article, metamorphosis of Tajulmoluk and its effects on the protagonist of Mazhab e Ishq has been discussed in light of psychological theories presented by Jung and other psychologists of his school of thought.
