Abstract
Ibne Insha is a humorist of Urdu language of his own style. He has contributed to Urdu literature many of his writing of which is his famous book "Urdu ki Aakhiri Kitaab" The Last Book of Urdu. This article presents an analytical and critical appreciation of the book. The article sheds lights on socio-political aspects of his humor writing besides a glimpse into his historical vision. Some of his techniques he employed in his humor have also been pointed out through specimens from his said book.
