Abstract

Khawja Ghulam Farid was a prominent Sufi poet of Punjabi/Seraiki language. He belonged to a renowned religious and literary family of the Southern Punjab. His main claim to fame is 'Kafi' writing. The theme of his poetry is mysticism. He had employed almost all the literary beauties in his poetry and especially his usage of imagery is unique which distinguishes him from other poets of the Punjab. This article is a study of his imagery usage in his poetry.
