Abstract

The article depicts the concept and feelings of Ada Jafery about life and death. Ada Jafery was brought up in a feudal society. She succeeded to get herself recognized in conflicting social and political behaviors of her time. She spent her life with an obligation through her art. She accepted the life with its happiness and pains. In the perspective of death the morality of life earns more significations that make life more dynamic than before. The deep thoughts about grief and death appeared in the form of life and hope, and this is the distinctive feature of Ada Jafery's Urdu Ghazal.
