Abstract

Mir Muhammad Afzal Sabit is one of the renowned poets of the Sub continent. He was not only a poet but also an author and critic of great merit. He was born in Alaabad, India in 1100 AH. He was scholar and unrivalled poet. He enjoyed a special status among eminent Iranian and sub continental poets for his unique style he employed in his poetry. Although Mir Sabit penned on different topics and wrote many books but his divan stood most prominent in his literary works. The article presents introductory study of his life and work.
