Abul al Faiz Faizi was an accomplished poet of the Sub continent whose poetic excellence was acknowledged throughout the Persian speaking world. He was associated with the court of emperor Jalal al Din Akbar as Poet Laureate. His poetic renditions were scattered here and there and finally got compiled in an anthology by A.D Arshad and published from the University of the Punjab, Lahore in 1967. This article is an introductory study of the said anthology besides a brief note on Faizi.
