Post colonial trend in literature begins with the resistance against colonial system. This trend got developed in one shape or other in the occupied countries with the start of resistance movement against colonialism. This resistance was all encompassing and could be felt on socio-political and literary levels. This movement is aimed at reversal of colonial system and revival of indigenous values side by side revivification of golden values of the past. There emerged great literary persons committed to this movement in almost all occupied countries and they caused a revolution like effect in the currents of their respective literature. This article focuses the Orient side of the said movement.
