Abstract
A genuine critic hardly compromises the set standards of criticism by turning deaf ears to the psychological voices of a literary piece. If he does so it is considered as bad omen for the literary criticism. Dr. Shabi-ul Hasan is such a true psycho-critic who does not involve himself in mere literary hair splitting rather tries to give an unbiased critical psycho-analysis of literary works. Dr. Shabi's criticism is an impeccable manifestation of psycho-criticism. He is a multifaceted critic and his style of criticism is unique and unprecedented. Dr. Shabi's psycho-analysis of literary pieces is of great merit. This article focuses Dr. Shabi's services as a psycho-critic.
