Abstract

Ashfaq Ahamd is a great name of modern Urdu literature. He had special inclination towards mysticism. He travelled far and wide to meet mystics and interact with them in order to attain what we call Wisdom of the East. His literary contributions hold the very bearings of his mystic approach. He had the great love for humanity which is reflected through his short stories, dramas and interviews. This article is an analytical study of mystic elements in his fiction.
