Abstract
TILISIM-E-HOSHRUBA is the most famous dastan in Urdu. It's a book crammed with wonderful places and incidents. As a fantasy it is without any counterpart in literature. There is symbolism replete with fantastic aspects. There is no better example of fantastic literature within our reach, a liberal cornucopia of imaginative brilliance.
