Ḥazrat Nosha Ganj Bakhsh is one of the great Sufis of the Punjab who dedicated his life for the spread of true and peaceful message of Islam. A good number of locals embraced Islam by his preaching. Generally, he advised his followers to act upon all the teachings of Islam but especially he emphasized on reciting the Kalima Tayyiba again and again. His work both prose and verse teamed with the importance of recitation of the Kalima. He did this knowing the fact that if embedded this Kalima deep into the hearts of the believers, they would not go astray despite all kinds of temptations or fears. The article focuses Ḥazrat Nosha’s teachings especially about the recitation of the Kalima Tayyiba.
