Muzaffir Ali Syed is big name as regard to criticism of modern Urdu literature. He penned on various topics but his original work remained to be criticism throughout his life. Among his valuable books is Sukhan aur Ahle Shukhan. This book was published posthumously and carries important discussions on different aspects of Urdu literature. Distinctive marks of Syed's criticism may rightly be perceived through the contents of this book. This article presents a reviewal study of the said book.
