Abstract

There has been a strong bond between literature and politics ever since. National politics directly impacts our literature. Literature offers its services for reform and betterment of the society. Traces of an individual, state and politics are found in every epoch of literature. Whether it is a fiction or novel or poetry, every writer has dealt it extremely well. The similarity between literature and politics is also found in the fact that both are directly concerned with the society. Therefore, the relationship between literature and politics is very deep and constant. This article deals with the relationship between Urdu literature and politics.
